Shobun Baile
Shobun Baile is an artist and filmmaker. He has studied at the Städelschule, Frankfurt, received an MFA from Carnegie Mellon University, and was a fellow in the Core Program at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. His work has recently been presented at the New York Film Festival, the European Media Art Festival, the 2020 Fotofest Biennial and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.

Delving into the notion of the desktop as an archival site and methodology, this contribution presents two divergent outputs resulting from collaboration between the participants and co-conveners of the Academy workshop “Desktop Shortcuts”: an in-development simplified database of hyperlinks, and a poetic game of disorder.
