Babacar Mbaye Ndaak is a writer, author and storyteller in the long tradition of Senegal. He worked as a professor of geography and devoted his time and means to travel the country, to learn, write and transmit. He has been publishing numerous books and albums of poetry, stories, elegies and videos valorizing the orality of Senegalese and African heritage. In 2018 he was awarded the Prix Birago Diop du Conte by the Association of writers of Senegal.
